Speakers: Vlaho Hrdalo, Karla Krmpotić

Duration: 3 hours (9:30am - 12:30pm) + lunch

The Goal

To provide the participants with a better understanding of the evolving regulatory framework surrounding Web3 projects, with a particular focus on CASP-s. Although the MICA regulation has not yet been voted on and the bylaws are not yet published, the general direction is clear. The HKOD team will provide participants with a steering wheel that they can apply to their businesses when the regulation is finalized.

Description

The workshop will provide an overview of the MICA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulation, which is currently scheduled for voting by the European Parliament. Although the bylaws are not yet finalized, the workshop will cover the general provisions that projects should anticipate to ensure compliance with the new regulation. The workshop will be led by industry experts and will provide practical insights and strategies for adapting to the new regulatory environment. Key topics covered during the workshop will include the scope and objectives of the MICA, the regulatory requirements for CASP-s, and the potential impact on innovation and development.
